Recently, Denmark's Semco Maritime has been selected for a joint venture between Canadian power company Northland Power Inc.
(NPI) and Taiwan's Yushan Energy to conduct construction studies
on the Hailong offshore wind farm in Taiwan's Changhua region.

The scope of the study included electrical infrastructure optimization for grid studies, offshore substation quantity assessment, submarine cable characteristics, primary offshore substation substructure design and superstructure layout, and onshore substation layout

The survey will be completed in collaboration with Taiwanese engineering partners to ensure compliance with local requirements

The Hailong offshore wind farm project will have 1,044 MW of power generation facilities
at two sites in Changhua County.
