    Switzerland's revised organ transplant law allows those who do not refuse to be considered organ donors

    On May 15, local time, Switzerland held a referendum on three proposals, namely, the revision of the "Organ Transplantation Law", the revision of the "Film Law" and the increase of funding for the European Border Agency, all of which were passed with a high approval ra.
     
    Amendments to the Organ Transplantation Act passed by referendum stipulate that the principle of organ donation in Switzerland will be changed from the current "informed consent" to "presumptive consen.
    This means that anyone who did not expressly reject organ donation during his lifetime can be considered an organ don.
    However, this does not mean that the deceased can have their organs removed at will, and the opinions of their relatives and family members are still the most important reference facto.
    If the hospital has been unable to get in touch with the family of the deceased, the organ removal cannot be perform.
     
    The amendment to the "Film Law" stipulates that international streaming platforms such as Netflix and Disney must provide 4% of their Swiss turnover to Swiss film and TV creations every ye.
    This is expected to provide an additional 18 million Swiss francs (about 120 million yuan) in annual funding for Swiss-made film and television producti.
    In addition, the amendment also stipulates that at least 30% of the film and television works released by these streaming media platforms must be produced in Switzerland or Euro.
     
    The referendum that day also agreed that Switzerland would increase funding and personnel support for the European Border Agen.
