Recently, renewable energy giant Suzlon Group announced that it will be interested in building a power plant
in the Indian state of Telangana.

The chairman of Suzlon Group revealed at the World Economic Forum in Davos that "in order to strengthen Telangana's agricultural sector, India needs to generate more electricity

The Telangana government did not mention further details
of the proposed project in its statement.
Back in January 2016, Suzlon entered the Indian solar industry
after securing a 210 MW solar power project in the state.

India's Minister of Information Industry also maintained friendly relations with former US Vice President Gore and recommended Telangana's "Haritha Haram" scheme to improve green electricity coverage
in the state.
