Recently, Sumitomo Chemical released a business strategy statement for the Information Electronic Chemistry Division, announcing polarizers, LCP (industrialized liquid crystal polymer) thin film materials, and future development plans for the Information Electronic Chemistry Divisi.

In addition, Sumitomo Chemical regards liquid crystal polymer materials as a part of the strengthening of the engineering plastics business, and actively develops the market of thin-film LCP in the 5G fie.

Sumitomo Chemical said that the company mainly produces optical functional films, touch sensing panels and color photoresists for flat panel displays such as LCD and OL.
