    Kazakh News Agency/Nur-Sultan/November 3-Kazakh Energy Industry Network released data showing that from January to September 2021, the whole of Kazakhstan produced 195,500 tons of sugar, an increase of 2.

    It is reported that Kazakhstan's sugar output in 2020 is only 147,500 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 41%

    The industry's output has declined for 5 consecutive years (since 2016)

    From January to August this year, Kazakhstan's sugar mills provided 43% of the domestic sugar market, compared with 15.
    4% in the same period last year

    Despite this, the market share of imported sugar is still as high as 56.

    Atyrau (315 tenge), Pavlodar (301 tenge) and Taraz (245 tenge) have the lowest sugar prices

    Shymkent saw the biggest increase in sugar prices, with an annual increase of 53.

    9%) also rose sharply

    Sugar prices in Almaty saw the smallest increase, but the annual increase was still 17.
