Recently, researchers from the experimental center of traditional Chinese medicine, Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of traditional Chinese medicine, published papers to preliminarily explore the anti-inflammatory effect of Asarum and its different extracts The results showed that the original powder of Asarum and the essential oil of Asarum had the effect of anti acute inflammation This article was published in the 9th issue of Hainan Medical Journal in 2015 The anti-inflammatory effects of Asarum and its different extracts were observed by croton oil induced ear swelling in mice and carrageenan induced paw swelling in rats The results showed that the low, middle and high dose of Asarum Asarum powder and the low, middle and high dose of Asarum Asarum volatile oil could inhibit the ear swelling of mice, and the high dose of volatile oil could also inhibit the toe swelling of rats.
