A variety of teahouses are the daily social and affairs venues of Sichuanese people, which is why teahouses have become a "necessity"
in Sichuanese people's lives.
Due to the strong market demand, the number of teahouses in China is increasing, and the types are diverse, but the service content and business characteristics of some teahouses lack unified standards, resulting in uneven development of tea quality and service
.
Recently, the Sichuan Provincial Market Supervision Bureau issued the "Tea House Tea House Management Specification" (hereinafter referred to as the "Specification"), which will be officially implemented
on December 1.
This is also the first local standard for the management of tea houses and teahouses issued by Sichuan, which defines "tea house tea house" and the emerging "intelligent tea house tea house"
.
The promulgation of the Code will have a positive impact on the tea house and tea house industry, and will play a certain role
in promoting the prosperity of the market, stimulating consumption and promoting the development of modern service industry.
Standardization provides assistance for the recovery of the tea house and tea house industry
According to the "2021 China Tea House Industry Development Report", there are more than 50,000 officially registered tea houses in Sichuan Province, with millions of practitioners, and Chengdu is the city with the most tea houses in the country
.
There are a large number of tea houses in Sichuan, and many tea house operators do not have standardized tea products, the extended services provided are uneven, and the hardware facilities cannot meet professional standards, and the industry is in a state
of disorderly development.
The Code defines a tea house as a place for cultural activities and related activities with the sale of tea, tea, tea utensils and related products or services as its main business scope, with functions such as tea tasting, leisure, entertainment, negotiation, dining, and performing arts
.
It is understood that more than 20,000 of the more than 50,000 teahouses of various colors in Sichuan are gathered in Chengdu, and many indicators such as the density of teahouses and the total number of five-star teahouses rank first
in Sichuan.
Chengdu has a number of national five-star tea houses, as well as small tea shops with dense turns, dozens of yuan of covered bowls, ten yuan of vegetarian tea, you can drink the tea soup white
.
In recent years, factors such as rising rent and labor costs, serious homogenization competition, and declining profit margins have had a considerable impact
on the operation of teahouses.
In 2020, some tea houses and hotels will be transferred in Chengdu, and the price of tea house sales will be lower
.
Since the second half of last year, the teahouse to be transferred has become "fragrant food" again, and the price of the sale has been rising
.
"I think the market has seen the dawn of recovery, and is still optimistic about the business of Chengdu
teahouses.
" A teahouse manager said
.
Regarding the introduction of the Code, he believes that there are no rules and no square circle, and this is true
for any industry.
When the market is bad, we must do a good job of service
.
If everyone can strictly follow the requirements of the norm and improve the quality and level of service, this business is still a good business
.
Zhang Tao, secretary general of the Sichuan Tea House Association and chairman of the Chengdu Tea Industry Trade Union, believes that the introduction of the Code has innovated and improved the standard development and scientific management level
of the tea house tea house industry.
The "Specification" covers preparatory management, human resources management, service management, marketing management and other contents, using scientific methods and means, using standardization to standardize the operation and management of tea houses, achieving high efficiency, high quality, high yield and low consumption, which will provide strong help and support
for the development of tea house tea house industry, build brand tea houses and characteristic tea houses.
Zhan Li, deputy secretary-general of the Shandong Provincial Secretariat of the Tea House Industry Development Center of the Commercial Catering Service Industry Development Center, said that from the perspective of tea house industry personnel, the level of tea houses at this stage is very different, and there is a lack of standards in personnel treatment, and the introduction of the "Specification" standard is also a guarantee for personnel engaged in the tea house industry, at the same time, it reduces the flow of industry personnel and promotes the standardized and orderly development
of human resources in the tea house industry.
National standardization construction is still a top priority
In fact, before the release of the local standards of the Code, many relevant regulations on teahouse standards had been issued
across the country.
In terms of national regulations, in 2012, the Ministry of Commerce issued the "Tea House Operation Service Specification"; In 2014, the Ministry of Commerce issued the "Classification and Assessment of Tea House"; In 2015, All-China Supply and Marketing Cooperatives issued the General Rules for the Operation and Management of Teahouses
.
In terms of local regulations, in 2008, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province issued the local standard of "Hangzhou Tea House Tea House Classification and Service Specification"; In 2010, the Agricultural Commission of Guizhou Province issued the local standard of "Basic Requirements for Tea House Industry Services in Guizhou Province"; In 2018, Tongren City, Guizhou Province issued the "Fanjing Mountain Tea House Classification Standard" and "Fanjing Mountain Tea House Tea House Industry Service Specification" local standards; In 2020, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province issued the "Guiyang City Tea Industry Demonstration Evaluation and Subsidy Management Measures (Trial)"; In 2022, the Fujian Provincial Market Supervision Bureau issued the local standard
of "Service Specification for Tea Experience Shops".
Industry insiders believe that the standard definition and standardized rating of tea houses by government departments can not only enable tea companies, suppliers and consumers to play a role in mutual supervision, but also allow tea culture to be passed on and developed
in a healthy and orderly manner.
However, in order to achieve a substantial growth of the national tea house industry, the popularization and implementation of relevant national tea house standards is still a top priority, and tea industry personnel should organize and establish good contacts to jointly promote the standardization and development of
the tea house industry.
Zhan Li said that the standardized development of the tea house industry can be diversified, and empower the dissemination of tea culture by holding tea parties and establishing tea house alliances, provide a perfect business model, promote the emergence of new formats of the tea house industry, and give strong support
to the tea house industry market.
The intelligent tea room guides the healthy and orderly development of the new business format
In recent years, a new type of tea house format unmanned smart tea room has appeared in domestic cities
including Chengdu.
This type of tea room relies on mobile Internet technology to create a private tea drinking space and redefine the consumption scene
of tea houses.
In the newly issued Code, in particular, such new forms of teahouses are more clearly defined
.
The 4th floor of the West China Haute Couture Center in West 2nd Lane of North Railway Station in Jinniu District, Chengdu, is the location of an unmanned tea room haute couture shop, use the booking mini program, select the "Qingluan" tea room, click to book to choose the duration
of use.
In the tea room, all kinds of tea sets are complete
.
Everything is self-service and customers can make their
own tea with an electric kettle.
Other tea rooms on the roof on the 4th floor also have chess and cards, and the charging standards are the same
as those of pure tea drinking rooms.
"We are the first unmanned tea room
with chess and cards in Chengdu.
" The person in charge of a tea culture communication co.
, LTD.
in Sichuan introduced that since the launch of the unmanned tea space brand in June 2020, there have been 6 physical stores
in Chengdu.
"For customers who value privacy and freedom, choose an unmanned tea room without contact with any staff, and the tea room is closed
24 hours a day and holidays.
At present, the business is in good condition and the expansion
is actively prepared.
It is reported that more than 100 shared unmanned intelligent tea rooms
have been opened in Chengdu.
"The shared tea room has low operating costs and strong reproducibility, so it is very popular
with investors.
" According to industry insiders, a shared tea room with an area of 100 square meters only needs 150,000-180,000 yuan to start-up, which is much lower than that of traditional tea rooms
.
"Traditional tea rooms need to hire tea artists, waiters, etc.
to provide services, while shared tea rooms are self-help throughout the process, only need to hire cleaning staff to clean up, and can also be open 24
hours.
"
It is worth noting that the Code defines intelligent tea houses and teahouses, which should adopt intelligent facilities and equipment, be unattended 24 hours a day, and realize intelligent management and self-service services
.
Site selection should give priority to places with suitable environment and convenient transportation, and should be selected according to the principle of business district (district), such as cultural tourism areas, business office areas, store gathering areas and other areas
with many people.
