During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, Sinopec's oil refining business adhered to the principle of "controlling production capacity, integrating refining, chemical and sales, market-oriented, and technology-driven", optimized and promoted base construction and industrial chain system improvement, intensified industrial structure adjustment, and continued to increase "oil" We will accelerate the development of high-end lubricating oils, accelerate the creation of a “leader” in the internationalization of low-sulfur marine fuels, continue to promote the implementation of oil product quality upgrades, improve the overall comprehensive competitiveness and profitability of oil refining, and take the lead in the oil refining business to enter the world-class level.

During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, Sinopec will accelerate the R&D breakthrough and industrialization layout in the field of new materials, focusing on key areas such as transportation, medical care, environmental protection, new energy, and building materials
