    Nutri-Grade beverage grading system

Beverages can be divided into four color-coded grades according to the Nutri-Grade grading system: "A (dark green)", "B (light green)", "C (yellow)" or "D (red)
    ".
Among them, grade A represents the lowest sugar content and saturated fat, and grade D represents the highest
    sugar content and saturated fat.
It is important to note that the total amount of sugar in Nutri-Grade beverages refers to any monosaccharides and disaccharides in the beverage, including novel sugars such as allulose and isomaltulose
    .
Manufacturers, local importers and distributors must accurately determine the grade
of Nutri-Grade beverages in accordance with the provisions of the revised regulations.
The Nutri-Grade grading system is shown
    in Table 1.

    Nutri-Grade logo and advertising restrictions

All Nutri-Grade beverages intended for retail sale in Singapore, regardless of grade, must be labelled on a Nutrition Facts Sheet
    .
The Nutri-Grade badge is mandatory for beverages rated C and D, while healthier Class A and B beverages are voluntarily marked with the Nutri-Grade label
    .
The Nutri-Grade mark must indicate the total sugar content
    of the product.
Also, the Nutri-Grade flag can be horizontal or vertical, as shown
    in Figure 1.
Singapore requires all media platforms (e.
    g.
    radio, television, online, print, etc.
) to prohibit ads for Nutri-Grade beverages rated "D
    ".
