    On July 22, the Singapore Food Authority issued a reminder on the import procedures and requirements for fresh and minimally processed fruits and vegetable.

    Importers of minimally processed fruits and vegetables must comply with the following import requirements:
     
    Submission of imported goods (one-time submission) supporting documentation (eg a true copy of the manufacturer's license) produced in a place regulated by the competent authority of the country in which the goods are importe.
     
    Import of minimally processed fruits and leafy vegetables (such as lettuce, cabbage, cabbage, et.
    ) require a chemical and microbiological laboratory report every six months, non-leafy processed vegetables (such as onions, potatoes, carrots, water chestnuts) et.

    Exporters of fresh and minimally processed fruits and vegetables (whether whole or minimally processed) to Singapore should strengthen coordination with Singapore importers of relevant products, understand the latest requirements, and take the initiative to submit the "Singapore Food Authority" requirement.
