    To strengthen its position in Brazil, Siemens Gamesa announced the signing of the largest contract
    ever in the market.
    The company will supply a total of 471 MW of electricity
    to Iberdrola's Brazilian subsidiary, Neoenergia.

    The agreement includes the commissioning of the company's 3.
    4-132 turbines, including 15 wind farms
    , at the Santa Luzia complex in the northeastern Brazilian state of Paraíba.

    The SG 3.
    4-132 is one of
    the company's newest and most efficient turbines.
    Its blades are 65 meters
    long.
    When completed, the contract will also help nurture a local manufacturing base, with turbines to be produced
    at Siemens Gamesa's plant in Camaçari.
