RNA site-specific labeling is crucial for the study of RNA structure and function and the development of related applications
On March 16, 2022, Liu Yu's research group from the School of Life Science and Technology of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the State Key Laboratory of Microbial Metabolism published an online publication titled "Short Oligonucleotides Facilitate Co-transcriptional" in the internationally renowned academic journal "Journal of the American Chemical Society".
The SMRITI method innovatively introduces short DNA hybridization to the adjacent region of the 3' end of the guide RNA strand, unfolds the complex structure of the guide RNA, and significantly improves the labeling efficiency
