Su News Agency reported on October 19 that the harvesting of sesame seeds was continued on the 750,000 Fedan land in the agricultural district of Gadalif State

The Director-General of the Ministry of Production and Economic Resources Ahmed Hassan Aluub confirmed in a statement to the Soviet News Agency today that the state government will complete the harvest season and ensure that harvesting operations continue in some areas

He mentioned the proposal of using Ethiopian labor.
Regarding the use of pesticides in sesame crops, Aluub confirmed that he has set up a field day for farmers to teach them how to use pesticides to fight stubborn pests and diseases, so as not to affect the sesame harvest

He said that this year the planted area of various crops exceeded 7 million feddans, and the total area of corn planted reached 5 million feddans except for other crops
