Recently, Professor Wang Hui of the School of Public Health and the Single Cell Groups and Disease Research Center of Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine, the team of researcher Bagan and the team of Professor Liu Houbao of Zhongshan Hospital of Fudan University have worked together to fully analyze the gallbladder cancer map using single-cell sequencing technology.
Gallbladder cancer is a highly malignant and aggressive malignant tumor with a low incidence but a high mortality rate.
To this end, the researchers used single-cell transcriptomics for the first time to comprehensively analyze the paracancerous, carcinoma in situ, and lymph node metastatic tumor tissues of patients with gallbladder adenocarcinoma, gallbladder adenosquamous carcinoma, and gallbladder neuroendocrine tumors.
Wang Hui said that the findings of this study suggest that targeting tumor immune microenvironment and angiogenesis may be an effective treatment for gallbladder carcinoma epithelial cell carcinoma, and it provides new potential targets from both cellular and molecular perspectives
