On September 11, Honeywell announced that Zhejiang Satellite Petrochemical .

Oleflex technology helps it meet China's growing demand for propylene, a major ingredient in the manufacture of plasti.

"Zhejiang Satellite Petrochemical's first Oleflex unit has been running successfully for five yea.

Honeywell UOP's C3 Oleflex technology converts propane through catalytic dehydrogenation to propylene, the main ingredient in the production of polypropyle.

Its platinum-alumina-based catalyst system features low energy consumption, low emissions, and is fully recyclable, minimizing environmental impa.

Propylene has long been a by-product of refined oil products, but demand for propylene now exceeds supp.
