    All of the infections were reportedly traced to contaminated eggs from the same chicken farm in North Carolina


    Although no one has died from the outbreak, 11 people have been taken to hospital for treatment


    Salmonella infection usually develops stomach cramps, diarrhea, and a high fever within a day or two of exposure to Salmonella Enteritidis


    However, if the patient is dehydrated due to diarrhea, a severe syndrome can develop
