    Sales of alcohol , which includes gin , vodka and beer , have grown significantlysince mid-March, according to research firm Nielsen IQ .

     
    According to published reports, in the two weeks of mid-March, Russian citizens bought 60% more gin than in the same period in 2021, while sales of beer increased by 9-15% and vodka by 10-13%
