Russian Agriculture Minister Patrushev said during the All-Russian Food Forum that in 2022, Russia's food production may greatly exceed last year and be close to the highest lev.

Russia will harvest 12656 million tons of grain in 2021, including 794 million tons of whe.
The 2017 harvest set a record when 13539 million tons of grain were harvested, including 8003 million tons of whe.

"The Russian grain harvest in 2022 is likely to be significantly larger than last year and will be close to the highest level," Patrushev sa.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting on economic issues on the 26th that Russia's 2022 grain harvest may be 130 million tons, including 87 million tons of wheat, which may become a record level in the entire Russian histo.
