    News from SeafoodMedia on December 17, South Korea’s Pyeongtaek Port will begin accepting frozen aquatic products from Russia’s refrigerated containers on December 13, 2021 .

     
    This was agreed by the Russian Federal Fisheries Agency and the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries of the Republic of Korea under the framework of cooperation between the Russian Federation and the South Korean government on the protection of fisheries and the prevention of IUU fishing since December 22, 2009

    The high demand for shipping containers and the transportation restrictions brought about by the epidemic prevention and control have had a significant impact on the transportation routes of Russian aquatic products

    In order to ensure the stability of supply and make full use of the transportation potential of South Korean ports, the Russian Federal Fisheries Agency solved the problem of transporting Russian aquatic products through Pyeongtaek Port in South Korea

    The Port of Busan in South Korea has always been the main transit port for Russian aquatic products.
    The addition of Pyeongtaek Port will effectively alleviate the problem of cargo entering the Port of Busan
