[China Epoxy Industry Online] April 25, 2005: RPP Houston announced on April 19 that it will adjust the prices of epoxy resins of different specifications in the Americas from May 15.
Company principal Bradley Crocker explained that the reason for the price increase was the continuous price increase of epoxy chloropropane and bisphenol A (ECH and BPA) in 2005, and the continued growth in demand.
The details are as follows:
EPON(TM) liquid epoxy resin: 7 cents/lb;
EPON(TM) solid epoxy resin: 7 cents/lb;
epoxy resin solution: 7 cents/lb;
EPON(TM) epoxy Resin blend; 7 cents/lb;
EPON(TM) brominated epoxy resin: 7 cents/lb;
EPON(TM) high-performance epoxy resin: 5%
EPIREZ(TM) water-soluble resin: 57 cents/ lb lb.
