Under the trend of general decline in global production in 2021, Romania produced 5.
3 million liters of wine, an increase of 37% year-on-year.
It is one of the few countries in the EU that has increased production, almost equivalent to the total output of Hungary and Austria, reaching the highest level in the past five years.
