Recently, China-based PV manufacturer and developer Risen Energy said it has signed a contract with Vietnam-based Tasco to build a 61 MW solar project
in Ninh Thuan.
A subsidiary was recently set up in Vietnam, which will be the company's first PV plant in the country and one of the
first power purchase agreement projects in the country.
Construction of the facility is expected to begin
this month.
The Ninh Thuan plant will be equipped with 330W polycrystalline solar modules, which the company claims "are more suitable for local environmental conditions and building needs, laying an important technical foundation for the successful construction and operation of the project"
.
The project is scheduled to be connected to the grid
in 2019.
The company issued a statement saying, "Risen Energy Energy's participation in this project will allow the market to fully understand our core strengths, including EPC's technology and experience
.
" Vietnam is an important emerging market
for the company.
By participating in the construction, we will gain valuable benefits on how to plan and execute projects in Vietnam, creating a development model
that can be used as a reference for future efforts.
The efficient operation and management model deployed by the company's team and the superior quality of the power station will improve the level of trust that local companies have in the Risen Energy brand and the quality it represents, increasing the possibility of
further cooperation between them and us.
