China Petrochemical News Network News On the eve of the National Day this year, the technicians of Qilu Petrochemical Research Institute completed the calibration of the 132 series hydrolysis reactor of Puguang Natural Gas Purification Plant
.
During the calibration period, the various process parameters were within the normal range, and the COS content in the purified gas was stable less than 1 mg/m3, meeting the technical indicators of Class I gas, marking the successful industrial application of the organic sulfur hydrolysis catalyst developed by Qilu Petrochemical.
Replace imported catalysts
The 132 series of Puguang Natural Gas Purification Plant started construction in December 2020.
The catalyst used in its desulfurization unit is a special catalyst for natural gas organic sulfur hydrolysis independently developed by Qilu Petrochemical Research Institute
.
In order to understand the actual operation of the hydrolysis reactor, the sulfur group of the Institute of Petroleum Institute prepared a detailed industrial calibration plan in the early stage.
According to the calibration plan, the operation of the device was industrially calibrated.
Up to now, the institute has successfully completed the calibration work of 90%, 100%, and 105% load of the device.
Under different loads, the parameters of the device are operating normally, the catalyst hydrolysis rate is much higher than 99%, and the COS content in the purified gas is stable and less than 1 mg/m3, which is equivalent to the performance of imported catalysts
.
In the next step, the technicians of the institute will continue to track the operation of the device, optimize the parameters of the hydrolysis reactor, and provide technical services to promote the continuous improvement of the quality of natural gas in China
