Rice fields are one of the important sources of greenhouse gas emissions
Recently, the Soil Ecology and Environment Research Group of the Institute of Subtropical Agricultural Ecology, Chinese Academy of Sciences has made progress in reducing the amount of chemical fertilizers in double-cropping rice fields and using pig manure to reduce greenhouse gas emissions
The research results were published in the journal Agriculture Ecosystems & Environment with the title Reduction in net greenhouse gas emissions through a combination of pig manure and reduced inorganic fertilizer application in a double-rice cropping system: Three-year results
