Recently, the research group of Professor Bai Yanhong, School of Food and Bioengineering, Zhengzhou University of Light Industry, Henan Province Key Laboratory of Cold Chain Food Quality and Safety Control, published the research results of "new animal-derived food matrix purification media" in the international journals Journal of Chromatography A and Food Chemistry
.
The topics are "Development of a modified quick, easy, cheap, effective, rugged, and safe method based on melamine sponge for multi-residue analysis of veterinary drugs in milks by ultra-performance liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry" and "Application of silanized Melamine sponges in matrix purification for rapid multi-residue analysis of veterinary drugs in eggs by UPLC-MS/MS"
.
The composition of the animal-derived food matrix is relatively complex.
A good sample pretreatment method can not only significantly improve the accuracy, precision and sensitivity of veterinary drug detection, but also can effectively protect the chromatography column and mass spectrometry system from matrix contamination and prolong its service life
The above research was supported by a major public welfare project of Henan Province "R&D and demonstration of key technologies for rapid detection, prevention and control of meat safety hazards" (201300110100)
