    On February 28, Japan's largest polyolefin producer, Preman, announced that the company will suspend a polypropylene production facility at its Aesaki plant in Ichihara, Chiba Prefecture, in March 2023


    It is reported that in May 2021, Preman announced that it will build a new polypropylene production unit with a capacity of 200,000 tons per year in its production base in Shiyuan, which is scheduled to start operation in November 2024
