On December 2, PPG announced that it has completed the acquisition
of Huangshan Huajia Surface Technology Co.
, Ltd.
, a powder coating manufacturer in Huangshan, Anhui Province, China.

The acquisition will enable PPG to expand its powder coating product offerings
in the Asia-Pacific region.
Powder coatings are commonly used for
specialty finishes in automotive, appliance, and general industrial applications.
With the acquisition of Huangshan Huajia, PPG hopes to expand its metal bonding powder coating production capacity and regional footprint to meet the growing demand
for sustainable powder coatings.

PPG said the acquisition will further strengthen its leading position
in powder coatings.
