Jotun's new Egyptian coatings plant is scheduled to start production
in the second quarter Jotun has announced that its new 1.
2 billion Egyptian pound plant in Ramadan, Egypt, will be completed
in the second quarter of 2017.

According to Mohamed El-Rifai, head of oil and marine coatings at Jotun, the new plant will have a single-shift production capacity of 70 million litres per year, and the company is planning to continue to expand its production

Currently, Jotun's plant in Ismailia has a capacity of 40 million litres
in three shifts.
