On November 23rd, PetroChina has successfully completed the first pilot scale-up process technology and polymer product research of the self-developed MPE-U series metallocene polyethylene catalysts, and successfully prepared the first batch of high-end metallocene polyethylene materials in China - high impact resistance Low-wear polyethylene series products help realize the full localization of polymer materials for medical artificial joint implantation in China
The MPE-U series catalysts and target products used in this pilot test have overcome many technical difficulties such as metallocene catalysts and slurry polymerization equipment, and produced three grades of special polyethylene materials ULE-20 and ULE-30 with performance standards.
The MPE-U series catalysts and target products used in this pilot test have overcome many technical difficulties such as metallocene catalysts and slurry polymerization equipment, and produced three grades of special polyethylene materials ULE-20 and ULE-30 with performance standards.
Tests have shown that MPE-U series catalysts have the characteristics of stable activity release, long activity life and excellent high temperature polymerization performance, and the produced polyethylene homopolymer materials have excellent impact resistance and wear resistance
The specially-appointed expert innovation team and pilot test team of the Petrochemical Institute have reached a consensus on the next stage of application research, new process and new product development for this series of catalysts
