Peru's agricultural GDP increased by 3.7% year-on-year in the first quarter of this year

According to data from the Peruvian Ministry of Agricultural Development and Irrigation (Midagri), agricultural GDP in the first quarter of this year increased by 7% year-on-ye.

Peru's "Peruvian" reported on May 5, Midagri pointed out in its report that the increase in crop and animal husbandry harvests contributed to the restoration of agricultural market supplies, promoting the growth of the overall output value of the agricultural sector in the first quart.

First, the output value of the planting industry increased by 3% year-on-year, mainly due to the increase in the income of blueberries, citrus, oil palm and grap.
The output value increased by 120%, 29%, 17% and 10% year-on-ye.
In addition, the GDP of animal husbandry rose by 8%, mainly due to the increase in the production of chicken, pork, raw milk and eggs, up 3%, 7%, 3% and 0% in sequen.
