Oxford University Press (OUP) and the Southwest Hospital Burn Institute of the Army Medical University are pleased to announce their new partnership, which will co-publish
, the official publication of the Burns External Medicine Branch of the Chinese Medical Association and the Asia Pacific Scar Medicine Association, in 2020.is an open-access peer-reviewed journal that publishes the latest developments in basic, clinical and transformational research related to burns and trauma, with a special focus on biomaterials, tissue engineering, stem cells, critical care, immunobiology, skin grafts, prevention and regeneration. According to the latest journal citation report for 2019,
first published in this issue had an impact factor of 2.493.
Wu Jun, editor-in-chief of the journal, hopes to launch a new partnership with OUP, hoping that the publication will be the best platform to report on advanced research and expand its academic reach. Rhodri Jackson, editorial director of OUP Asia, said he looked forward to working with journal editors to help
grow into a leading open-access journal in the field of burns and trauma.
