On September 19th, the signing ceremony of strategic cooperation of Ordos carbon fiber whole industry chain production base project was held
in Ordos High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Inner Mongolia.
The total investment of the project is 6 billion yuan, and the upstream will lay out a high-performance carbon fiber project of 10,000 tons/year, which can produce T800~T1000 high-performance carbon fiber products, and plans to build 6 new raw silk threads and 6 carbonization lines to form a production capacity of
30,000 tons/year raw silk, 10,000 tons/year carbon filament and 5,000 tons/year composite materials.
It is reported that through the construction of carbon fiber, carbon fiber composite materials and carbon fiber upstream and downstream production bases, Ordos High-tech Industrial Development Zone will cultivate and form a complete upstream and downstream industrial cluster, driving the local new energy and new material industry to achieve the development of
the whole industrial chain.
