On the same day, 9 new cases were cured and discharged, and 240 close contacts were released from medical observation.

There are currently 189 confirmed cases imported from abroad (including 2 severe cases) and 2 suspected cases.

As of 24:00 on April 4, according to reports from 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, there are 238 confirmed cases (including 2 severe cases), 85,431 cured and discharged cases, and 4,636 deaths.

31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 18 new cases of asymptomatic infections, including 13 imported from abroad and 5 domestically (all in Yunnan); 3 confirmed cases (all imported from abroad) on the same day ); 10 cases of medical observation were released on the same day (all imported from abroad); 304 cases of asymptomatic infection were still under medical observation (267 cases imported from abroad).
