Oman OQ announced October 13 that it has launched six new polyolefin solutions to meet the differentiated functional needs
of thin-walled hollow containers and customized closure products.
According to OQ, this is an important result of the company's focus on the development of flexible and rigid packaging solutions, and the continuous expansion of
the product portfolio.
Trevor Robinson, head of global marketing at OQ Polymers, said the six polyolefin solutions released this time have achieved improved performance and value enhancement, especially in terms of environmental stress cracking resistance, which can prevent stress cracking
in hollow containers when storing chemicals.
Robinson said: "OQ plans to launch more innovative product grades
for rigid packaging in the near future.
These grades are currently in the research and development phase and will soon be available to the market
.
"The new grades will be suitable for a wide range of end-use applications for the production of hollow containers and closures
for food and beverage packaging, personal and home care packaging and industrial packaging.
Ali Al Lawati, Vice President of Global Sales at OQ Polymers, added: "We will continue to update these product portfolios
.
Our solutions offer significant advantages
in core properties such as stacking and dropping of hollow parts, resistance to environmental stress cracking, and processing.
In the future product development process, we will continue to actively listen to customer feedback to ensure that new products can provide them with maximum benefits
.
