Ukraine's Odessa Regional State Administration announced that a U.

company and a Lithuanian company will invest a total of 270 million euros ($315 million) in the region's wind power sector to build 192 MW of wind power projects

Ukrainian Power Resources, a company founded and led by American entrepreneur Peter Gish, plans to build a 120-megawatt wind farm, while Lithuania's Yuzhne Energy plans to add 72 megawatts of wind capacity

The two companies have signed memorandums of cooperation with regional governments to implement projects
in the Riemann region.
The Ukrainian Power Resources Company plans to build a total of 26 wind turbines between the villages of Viszir and Lubopil, which will create about 100 new jobs
as part of a project.
