Recently, India's state-run power giant NTPC has issued a turnkey tender for a 60 MW wind power project and a 130 MW solar hybrid energy project at NTPC-Kudgi, a super thermal power station in Karnataka

The scope of the contract includes the design, engineering, fabrication, supply, packaging and transportation, transportation, unloading, storage, installation and commissioning
of grid connection capacity.
After the completion of the project, the operation and maintenance service of the hybrid project will take one year
.
NTPC intends to fund
the project from its own resources.
It is understood that the deadline for submitting bids is November 21
, 2018.
India's first hybrid wind and solar project, completed in April 2018, will undergo energy storage retrofits
after strong winds will reduce solar production this year.
