Salmon farming
Lista Laks is an operating subsidiary
of the Norwegian innovative seafood company EcoFishCircle (EFC).
According to the EFC's development plan, the first step will be to build a land-based production facility at Lista Airport, 13 kilometers from the Farsund region of southern Norway, with an initial capacity of 6,000 tons
per year.
Then, the land-based project will gradually expand the scale of production, adding 500 tons per year, that is, 1 EFC standard module

Within the available land, the EFC said, a single module can be added indefinitely, which will make the EFC plant more flexible than other systems, eliminate the need to build large process buildings, and reduce investment costs by 30 to 50 percent
.
.
The EFC plan also includes the construction of a hatchery, a small processing plant and a feed mill, and the company's goal is to produce its own fish feed
while raising fish.
EFC will use some gas fermentation reaction technology to recover carbon dioxide from fish ponds and electrolyze water to oxygenate ponds, a new technology accomplished through EFC and a newly formed Gas 2 Feed subsidiary of private investment firm TM Holdings

"Land-based salmon products will be sold under a new brand, reflecting our efforts
in food safety, fish welfare, traceability and sustainability," said Lista Laks.
Other wastes from fish farming will be collected and used
as fertilizer for biogas production and algae farming.
