On August 15, data released by Norway's statistics department showed that due to soaring natural gas prices and demand in Europe, Norway's natural gas exports in July hit a record high of NOK 128.

European gas prices rose to a record level in July as the volume of Russian gas pipelines to Europe fell, Statistics Norway said
