Norway will continue to produce natural gas at current high levels for the next decade, Norway's energy minister said on Tuesday

Energy Minister Terje Aasland told Reuters in an interview that in order to maintain high levels of gas production, the country approved applications from operators to increase output from several fields

Norway plans to produce 122 billion cubic meters of natural gas this year, up 8 percent from last year, according to forecasts in May, and gas exports could hit a new record this year
