Recently, Nippon Shokubai announced that it will expand the acrylic acid production capacity of Nippon Shokubai's Indonesian plant in Cilegon City, Banten Province, Indonesia

It is reported that the new production line is expected to be completed before the end of March 2021, and commercial operations will begin in November of that year

After the new production line is put into operation, Nippon Shokubai Group's annual acrylic acid production capacity will be expanded to 980,000 tons
