    On May 3, 2022, the New Zealand Ministry of Primary Industries (MPI) released the 2020/2021 sampling year Chemical Residues in Foods of Animal Origin Project ( NCRP ) results repor.
    In the 2020/2021 sampling year (July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021), a total of 1,954 MPI were sampled from live animals, animal-related materials and animal products including cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, poultry, fish, honey, e.
    A total of 230,848 tests were conducted on pesticides, veterinary drugs and environmental pollutants in the samples, of which 8 test results exceeded the maximum allowable level specified in the "Animal Product Announcement: Limits of Pollutants", which were 1 Item Abamectin in Beef Liver, 2 items Abamectin in Deer Liver, 1 item Amitraz in Honey, 1 item brofazucin in Beef Liver, 1 item Mercury in Fish, 1 item Cow Monensin in liver, 1 toltrazuril in goat live.
