Sinopec Refining and Chemical Engineering announced on April 12 that on April 9, 2021, the group signed a BEPC project general contract with ExxonMobil (Huizhou) Chemical Co.
, Ltd.
(EMHCC) for the proposed Huizhou Ethylene Phase I project.

According to the contract, the Group will provide EMHCC with BEPC engineering general contracting services for the construction of the project.
The main scope of the contract includes basic design, detailed engineering design, procurement and construction of all process equipment, public works and auxiliary facilities

It is understood that the ExxonMobil Huizhou ethylene project will be constructed in two phases
