Improving production efficiency and reducing environmental pollution are the two main challenges facing the grass-fed livestock industry

Recently, the research team of Tan Zhiliang from the Research Center of Livestock and Poultry Healthy Breeding and Agro-Pastoral Ecology Research Center of the Institute of Subtropical Agricultural Ecology, Chinese Academy of Sciences analyzed the microbial mechanism of metabolic protein composition regulating the utilization efficiency of key nutrients using the weaned goat as a model

The research results were published in the journal Microbiology Spectrum under the title of Enhancing metabolic efficiency through optimizing metabolizable protein profile in a time progressive manner with weaned goats as a model: involvement of gut microbiota .
