Inspection of maize exports from The Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture in China

Brazilian website Moneytimes reports that in addition to corn, Brazil also plans to export more kinds of agricultural products
    to China.
Today, China is Brazil's largest buyer of agricultural products such as soybeans, meat and sugar, and the latest item on the list of traded commodities is soybean meal
    .

The Ministry of Agriculture said in an interview: "Based on the number of applicant companies and the supply capacity, we will determine the deadline for
    the first shipment to China.
" From that moment on, Brazilian companies can start export trade
(of corn in the Chinese market).

The agency also noted that corn exports to China are "authorized" and that one issue to be addressed is the approval
of genetically modified corn by Brazil's agricultural agency.
Companies interested in exporting corn, soybean meal and other commodities to China submitted a registration application
to the Ministry of Agriculture by the 26th of last month.
Since China itself is one of the main producers of soybean meal, among these products, corn is considered to be the most promising one
    .

The Ministry of Agriculture sees Brazil's start of exporting corn to China as an important milestone, but it is expected that exports will not be as large as the soybean trade, as China is also a major producer of crops, "[the volume of exports] will not reach the level of soybean trading, but this is still a historic moment
    .
    " ”

Sources noted that the trade prospects for Brazil to start exporting corn to China later this year are "good," but the highest exports could not emerge until 2023, as most of the corn stocks have closed trading
    .

Glauber Silveira, executive director of the Brazilian Corn Producers Association (Abramilho), said there would be no longer any obstacles to Brazil's corn exports to China later this year after the warehouse inspection was over, but the number of transactions is expected to be relatively small, as a large portion of the commodities are already being sold to other customers
    .
"We don't have that much stock left over, and the focus should be on the next harvest
    .
