    On September 14, 2022, the Gao Zhaobing Research Group of the Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Professor Maurizio Taglialatela of Federico II University in Naples, Italy, jointly held a joint research group at Neurobiology of Disease Published the latest research results "Epilepsy phenotype and response to KCNQ openers in mice harboring the Kcnq2 R207W voltage-sensor mutation", and successfully constructed a mouse model carrying the KCNQ2 epilepsy pathogenic mutation R207W and simulating the phenotype of human epilepsy through gene editing technology.
