National Energy Administration: Establish and improve the renewable energy standard system based on photovoltaic and wind power

On October 9, the National Energy Administration issued the Action Plan for Standardizing Energy Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality
.
The document mentioned that by 2025, a relatively complete energy standard system that can strongly support and lead the green and low-carbon transformation of energy will be initially established, energy standards will be transformed from quantity and scale to quality and efficiency, the standard organization system will be further improved, and energy standards will interact well with technological innovation and industrial development, effectively promoting green and low-carbon energy transformation, energy conservation and carbon reduction, technological innovation, and carbon emission reduction
in the industrial chain.

——Establish and improve the renewable energy standard system based on photovoltaic and wind power, study and establish a standard system to support the construction of new power systems, accelerate the improvement of new energy storage standard systems, and strongly support the development, construction, grid-connected operation, and consumption and utilization of large-scale wind power photovoltaic bases and
distributed energy resources.

——Formulate a number of emerging technologies and technical standards related to carbon emission reduction in the industrial chain, improve the relevant standard organization system, and achieve full coverage
of relevant standards in the energy sector carbon peaking industry chain.

-- Revise a number of standards related to energy efficiency in the conversion and transmission and utilization of conventional energy production, raise the requirements and level of standards, and promote and standardize the comprehensive utilization of resources and the improvement
of energy efficiency.

By 2030, establish a structurally optimized, advanced and reasonable energy standard system, closely coordinate energy standards with technological innovation and industrial transformation, and effectively support and guarantee carbon peak and carbon neutrality in the energy field
