According to the Economic Times, independent power producer Mytrah Energy has signed a contract
with Maharashtra Power Distribution Co.
, Ltd.
to build a 100 MW wind power project through a competitive tender.
It is understood that a total of six companies participated in the reverse bidding and collectively submitted quotations, with a cumulative production capacity of 821.

Bidders may choose to reduce the capacity
of their bids during the re-auction.
During the electronic auction, Mytrah Energy cited a tariff of Rs 2.
86 for a capacity of 200 kW and won a capacity
of 100 MW.
Under a tender issued on 21 December 2017, an auction was held to seek 500 MW of wind power supply
from bidders.
MSEDCL issued the Certificate of Grant on June 28, 2018, followed by the PPA agreement
on July 16.
The project will be operational
within 18 months from the date of implementation of the PPA.
