Recently, scientists from Kunming Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of sciences have discovered three new species of highly toxic bacteria, namely, grey pattern poison goose paste, light red poison goose paste and split skin poison goose paste (see the above figure) This shows that, together with the five previously discovered, there are at least nine branches in the family of highly toxic goose cream in East Asia Wild edible mushrooms are rich in protein, multi vitamins, more than 10 kinds of microelements beneficial to human body and 8 kinds of amino acids necessary for human body They do not or rarely contain fat and cholesterol Therefore, wild edible mushrooms are often called "mountain delicacies" It has become a consumption culture to collect, sell and eat wild mushrooms However, accidents of death caused by poisoning due to ingestion of highly toxic mushrooms occur frequently The main reason is the lack of awareness of poisonous mushrooms, the general lack of understanding of the harm of poisonous mushrooms, not to mention how to distinguish between wild edible mushrooms and poisonous mushrooms More than 90% of the deaths caused by poisonous mushroom poisoning were caused by poisonous goose paste Under the support of key projects of Yunnan joint fund and national key basic research and development plan, Dr Zhang Ping of Kunming Institute of Botany, based on the existing research of his tutor Yang Zhuliang research group, has made this new achievement, which is of positive significance for the prevention of mushroom poisoning.
