Recently, the Moroccan Minister of Energy, Mining and Environment Aziz Rabbah (Aziz Rabbah) announced a plan for a green hydrogen and ammonia project costing US$850 million

According to Green Hydrogen expert Fusion Fuel, the project is planned to be jointly developed by Fusion Fuel and the construction company Consolidated Contractors Group.
Energy and commodities trader Vitol is responsible for the green ammonia offtake management

Fusion said that after the feasibility study is completed, the first phase of the project is expected to begin in 2022, and operations will begin in 2026
.
The company said that after full production, it is expected to produce 183,000 tons/year of green ammonia, which can reduce 280,000 tons/year of carbon dioxide emissions
