Recently, Mitsui Corporation and Malaysia's Hong Seng Group signed a letter of intent to jointly build and operate a nitrile latex production plant and related storage tank facilities in Malaysia for the storage of butadiene and acrylonitrile.

It is reported that Mitsui will provide supply chain management services for the raw materials of the proposed nitrile latex plant and plans to provide funds for the tank farm
